Some training formats work better face to face. After a long break without in-person gatherings, cip marketing brought the adidas Outdoor Brand Ambassador community back together in Franconian Switzerland for a training that was about more than product knowledge - it was about reconnecting, testing together and reigniting the spirit that makes a community great.

The Challenge

After an extended period of remote-only communication, re-establishing real human connection within the adidas Outdoor Brand Ambassador team was just as important as delivering product training. The format had to be genuine, immersive and inspiring - set in a location that matched the outdoor brand's DNA.

Our Approach

  • First face-to-face Brand Ambassador training after a long break - deliberately designed to rebuild community spirit
  • Live product testing of the new adidas trail running, mountain bike and boulder range in the field
  • Workshops, product trainings and adidas brand insights in a cozy medieval location
  • Mobile video studio streaming the training and integrating external speakers
  • Campfire evenings to reconnect, share and celebrate the community

The Results

  • A successful first live Brand Ambassador training - energetic, authentic and memorable
  • Direct product testing in real outdoor conditions - credible and effective
  • Renewed community spirit and strengthened connections within the ambassador network
  • A hybrid training model combining live experience with digital reach via livestream
